I have my doubts on how well these coils will work on my thick, unmangeable, superdry hair. :( No stereotypical long fine silky Asian hair here. Barettes? Break them. Bobby pins? Always get bent out of shape. Hair ties? They'll snap if I don't double them up and use 2.

On a positive note, I LOVE your photography website! OMG thank you for the link! Too bad you live too far away; otherwise I'd throw your name and card into the list for our marketing and PR department at work. That way they'd contact you for paid work. It's commercial non-artsy stuff, but still. The pay is pretty good! =D

I bought a similar hair device a few years ago, but sadly they didn't work for my hair! I think my hair is just too thick/heavy to be held up by such tiny hairscrews. Your hair looks so pretty in that chignon!

Your engagement ring sounds and looks beautiful, from what I can see! I love unusual rings. My mum's engagement ring (which she still wears) is triangle-shaped and I've never seen a ring like that on anyone else :)
