LOL. when I found out the magazine trick I was like "wtf." and promptly did a facepalm.
I use my MAC 187 to dust the meteorites lightly over certain spots like a highlighter - nose, cheekbones, browbones, chin - super lightly (I use the beige chic shade for this) and with the pink fresh shade I use it like a normal blush with my 188 and bring the color all the way up to my temples (sometime all the way from temple to eyelid to mimic a touch of sun - pink sun)
I've always wanted to try something by Narsss. :)

Looking at the weather here, it looks like some whooga boots might come in handy! I'm so bummed out about a MAC eyeshadow purchase that doesn't suit me... should have stuck to your make up guide! I decided to be brave and bought "Shroom" as a base/highlighter sort of shadow and it basically disappears on me! SIGH. looking to swap it if you have a used MAC eyeshadow lying around that you don't use anymore? :) xoxo
