heaven is under our feet as well as over our heads

Target dress, Indian tikka and bracelets
make-up details HERE

I purchased this dress last summer and it's still my fave maxi dress. So comfy...like walking around in pj's.

I purchased the tikka on a whim cuz I thought it was just so pretty. It takes some getting used to having something dangling in the middle of your forehead, but it's too pretty to let it sit by it's lonesome self in a box.

sooo pretty!

you know how you were telling me that you just did your own "hemming" on some of your maxi dresses? Well I did that to one of mine before I went to Jamaica and it fit perfectly. When I got back, I wash and dried it, I put it on the other day and it had shrunk an entire foot! It's like mid calf length now! awful, I have to throw it away. i must remember to wash and dry before I do any self "hemming" ;) hehe

thanks for posting about the giveaway!

Nina, you are so pretty! I love this look. The tikka looks like it belongs on your head! :) I hardly ever wear them - usually only for weddings - but it works so well with that earthy, lovely dress.

Oh, and congrats for winning all those awards, and I hope you win something in the competitions too! :)
