I decided to create a FAQ page because 1) I get asked the same questions a lot and 2) I don't always get to reply to all the questions, unfortunately. 1. How do you style your hair? What products do you use? How do you get it voluminous? etc...
This post should answer all your hair questions. Also, my hair is very layered which helps w/the volume.
2. What is your occupation?
Other than blogger, freelance designer, photographer and writer.
3. Where do you live?
Los Angeles, Ca
4. What nationality are you?
Korean-American
5. How tall are you?
5'3" - I should also add that I have an abnormally short torso. I know because I've been measured and it's disproportionately shorter compared to the rest of my body and my height. It's literally my boobs and then my hips. I've been told I look taller because of this...who knows if it's true, but I'll take it.
6. What size do you wear?
For fitted clothes, an xs or a zero. For jeans, it's either a 25 or 26 depending on the brand and style. And with Levi's (since that's where 98% of my jeans are from), I wear 0 or 1.
7. What camera do you use?
My digi SLR is a Nikon D60 and I usually shoot with a 55-200mm 1:4-5.6G lens. My point and shoot is a Canon PowerShot SD1100 IS Digital Elph. [Updated May 26, 2010 - I recently added a Nikon D3s to my camera roster]
8. How old are you?
Old enough. Let's just say, I've already passed one high school reunion. ;)
9. Who are your style icons?
Kate Moss, Jane Birkin and her daughters Charlotte Gainsbourg & Lou Doillon, Jimi Hendrix, Robert Plant in his Led Zeppelin days, Patti Smith, Emmanuelle Alt, Erin Wasson, and anybody who owns their style and isn't afraid to flaunt it.
10. What beauty products do you use?
I promise to do a detailed make-up post soon but the products I can't live without are Kracie Kanebo Naive Cleansing Oil, Nivea Creme, Lubriderm Sensitive Skin Lotion, Neutrogena Lip Moisturizer, Shiseido Powdery Foundation in O60, and MAC Carbon eyeshadow (I blend it into my eye crease and and use it as my eyeliner). At the moment, no. But it may change at some point.
13. Can you do a vlog?
I'm awful in front of a video camera - I have the worst stage fright. But I've received a lot of requests for it so I will try and do one soon.
14. Where do you get your jewelry from?
It's a mish mash of places. They're mostly from Forever 21, vintage stores, ebay, or things I pick up in my travels. And some I've inherited from my mom and Mister's mom.

ooh great to see all of this in one page, I was always curious how tall you were and such! short torso is quite uncommon for a korean though, I have a long torso - like many koreans :P you do look taller, definitely.

Haha, my torso is abnormally short, too! When sitting next to my best friend (she's 5'1 and I'm 5'8), she's taller than me O_O

Thanks for the FAQ. I could never tell that your torso is abnormally short if you didn't point that out! Mine is too, but no one has ever told me that I look taller because of it :(
