Fierce is the word that comes to mind when I think of Marian. This English beauty is a stylist whose best client is clearly herself. With short hair that perfectly shows off her gorgeous features and a body that rivals that of most models (6ft 1in. anyone?), Marian can wear anything and everything and make it look amazing.

She has a penchant for funky leggings and finding the coolest vintage pieces which she layers and styles so perfectly. Jeans under a dress? Yeah, it may not work for most but Marian makes it work. And quite beautifully, I might add. She also doesn't shy away from colors and patterns and can wear something sparkley, glittery, and shiny with ease I don't see in many others. Oh, did I mention how much I drool over her lust worthy jewelry and belt collection? Trust me, you'll be drooling right along with me.

But her best asset? Her confidence by far. This is a woman who is comfortable with who she is and makes no apologies for her style. She wears her creativity proudly and answers to no trend. Intimidated? Don't be. Marian is one of the sweetest bloggers and takes time in her hectic schedule to visit her fellow readers' blogs and she always leaves thoughtful and supportive comments. I know I'm always flattered she visits me.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Being at complete peace with one's self and God.

What is your greatest fear?
We have nothing to fear but fear itself :o)

What is the trait you most deplore in yourself? 
Impatience!

What is the trait you most deplore in others?
Dishonesty

 Which living person do you most admire?
My Mum for battling Breast cancer with so much hope, dignity, cheerfulness and faith. 

What is your greatest extravagance?
My undying love for Fashion as a whole. It is an extravagance in itself.

 What is your current state of mind? 
Content by grace but buzzing with lots of yellow stick it 'to do' notes

On what occasion do you lie?
To answer that I'd have to lie and I try not to! ;)

What do you most dislike about your appearance?
Wow that is a good one, when I was younger it was my height as I'm 6ft1 but now
that I'm older and wiser can I be vain and say nothing?! :o)
After working in the Fashion industry it becomes obvious that all we see in the media is all smoke and mirrors. I have thus come to appreciate my appearance and self a whole lot more!
 
Which living person do you most despise? 
Who ever it was who outbid me on ebay last September for an insanely GORGEOUS vintage Balenciaga coat :o)

What is the quality you most like in a man? 
Honesty and Humour, luckily for me Hubby possesses both!

What is the quality you most like in a woman?
A love of self

GORGEOUS, AMAZING, SUPER, FABULOUS :o)

Which talent would you most like to have?
The ability to forget the past completely.

 If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
My impatience. I want everything done YESTERDAY.

My growth in faith.

This box which holds greeting cards, post cards, letters and other little bits that I have kept right from childhood.

My job as a Fashion stylist and writer

Physically my height and personality wise

Buchi Emecheta, JaToni Morrison, Shakespeare, Ousmane Sembène, Maya Angelou, Charlotte Brontë, Alice Walker, Edwidge Danticat, Emily Brontë, Langston Hughes, Ayi Kwei Armah, Charles Dickens, Mariama Bâ, Chinua Achebe, Alan Paton.
I like the classics and contemporary Western and African Literature.

 Who are your heroes in real life?
Anyone who is hard working, ambitious and striving to make an honest living.
 
What are your favorite names?
Kimberly, Kerry, Kelsey. I think I have a think for names that start with K for some reason! hehhe
 
What is it that you most dislike?
Injustice and prejudice

 What is your greatest regret?
Wasting time on regrets! Life is too short, every experience is a learning opportunity. :o)
