Anyway, let's get on w/the bleaching! You'll notice I wore my previously bleached jeans. In case some splattered on me, I won't be too worried about ruining anything. Oh, I also laid out some grey leggings to bleach but decided against it when I noticed that some random bleach splatters were turning a salmon color. So I nixed those right away.

Jean #1 is a dark grey pair from a random place. First I turned the nozzle on the spray bottle to "spray" and misted the entire jean, front and back. Then I switched the nozzle to stream, and again sprayed front and back. You can see the stream patterns in the above photo. Again, i did this front and back and then moved onto the next pair.

Jean #2 is a black pair by Levi's. Again, I used the spray bottle but this time I kept the nozzle to "stream" and just continuously spot sprayed. After I sprayed the first layer on both sides (top right photo), I sprayed another layer on top of the same spots to add some depth and "color range" (bottom 2 photos). Oh, I should note that w/jeans #1 & #2, I was standing up and spraying.

#3 is a pair of black corduroys by Miss Sixty. For this garment, I first sprayed it on both sides, then I switched the nozzle to stream, and then I poured bleach into the tub and brushed the bleach on w/an old paintbrush.

And finally, this is black pair from Miss Sixty. All I did was brush on the bleach w/the old paintbrush and then Jackson Pollack-ed it and splattered and dripped the bleach everywhere. I felt like I was back in art school.

Voila! There you have it. As far as time...I basically worked on both sides of a pair until I was satisfied and then moved onto the next jean while I let the previous one sit. When I was done w/all 4 pairs, I threw them the in machine and washed them w/hot water and dried them in the dryer.
I hope I was clear in my explanations and hopefully I was able to show you how easy it really is and how creative you can get. Of course I'll be happy to answer any questions. :)
And this is me today...wearing the Miss Sixty jeans I attacked w/a paintbrush.

What a fun little DIY project, Nina. Looks so perfect with the black accents too. Sorry to hear about your weather situations there. Hope everyone is safe! The good knows about our rain today? I felt a cool gust of wind afterward. Maybe the cooler weather is coming a little sooner that I initially thought? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!
